Haven't Done One Of These In A While

Outfit post!!! I have been getting dressed for the past few months, but have lacked in photographing.
This was a few weeks ago at happy hour in Ballston. Am App skirt, Target leggings, Minnetoka mocs, a thrifted shirt from Montana, and lots of BLING. I've recently acknowledged my undying love for bling. Its always been there, but for some reason I never really noticed how much I deck myself in glittery objects. No outfit is complete without a little shine.

Vero's Bday in Clarendon. I actually made this skirt out of a dress I never really wore. I just cut off the bottom, leaving the top for a top, and added a sequined elastic waste band. Sewing the elastic was really difficult because I did it all by hand and I haven't really dealt with elastic much before. I love the alternating bands of sequins and I think they go really great with the paisley pattern of the fabric.

Amazing Anthropologie

I recently discovered how insane Anthro's sale items are and I went a little wild. The prices are very decent for what they used to cost. In addition, Anthro is a huge weakness for me. I feel inspired when I walk in to the artistic clothing store and heavenly when I leave with new purchases that usually make me want to wear them while prancing through piles of autumn leaves.
Stretching Acres Cardigan - $19.98
marked down from $68.00
I die for the color and the wrap waste.
Double Take Leggings - $28.00
These actually weren't on sale but I like the idea of denim leggings. I got them in black, but I may cave and order them in blue too.
Pizza Meeting Sweater - $59.00
Marker down from $118.00
There are actually little people all over this cardigan. I thought it was really clever. i saw it a few days ago and couldn't stop thinking about it for a few days. Usually if is is the case, I fold under the pressure and buy whatever it is. (See: We Who See Wedges. They haunted me!)

I found all these on the website. The site offers many more options and sizes than the stores and its easy to find amazing Anthro deals!

Jon's 21st Freaking Birthday

Its official, the world is going to end. Jon turned 21 on September 25, 2009. He, my parents, and I went out to dinner before I played chaperone to him at Reston Town Center. I warned him ahead of time that I was not going to hold his hair back. The night went off without a hitch. Yay!

First legal shot - Jaeger

Pasta explosion!

Delicious beautiful desserts!

Later that night in Reston
